Hey Peter - I bought the 1972 Mercedes 300SEL 4.5 that you used to own. Love it. Thanks for taking good care of it, I notice from the receipts that you put quite a few $$ into maintenance. It’s my turn now, just replaced the timing chain & tensioner, repack wheel bearings, fix door locks, etc. This car is in great shape for its age. Cheers, -Dan

Yeah, they were pretty tight before. We’re going to install a big brake kit anyway, so it will go through a big bleed cycle. I’ll post a photo of the proximity of the exhaust and the brake lines and then the need for heat shielding will be obvious

Killer, I’m finally getting around to responding to your comments, we’d be very interested in checking out the strut tower brace. At the very least we can count it against our total for “fair” market value.
